We came back home from a lovely weekend by the ocean at my Dad’s to see a Painted Turtle laying her eggs in our front lawn. (just skip ahead to about 1min 20 sec. to see her actually laying an egg)
I’m sure it seemed like a very quite spot when she started… little did she know 
It was really cool to watch this little piece of nature in action with the kids.

I walked to the mailbox this morning admiring all the green leafing out from the trees opened the box and pulled out a catalog, electric bill, a toy store postcard, and a card hand addressed to Mr & Mrs. Kevin _________. I knew immediately from the handwriting who it was from, I remembered what day tommorrow is, and immediately smiled with a warm feeling inside.
I have an aunt who for the past 8 years has sent me a card on my anniversary. It is such a small act, but one that really stands out. Every year she remembers,she validates how important marriage/my marriage is.
It is such a great reminder of what little kindnesses do for others.
